Yoga classes at Yoga Garden SF are a uniquely San Francisco experience. Housed in an old Victorian home in one of San Francisco’s hippest neighborhoods – you know you’ve arrived as you walk down their garden path and leave the hectic urban bustle behind.

The goal of this project is to create supplemental designs for an already established company that enliven its outward facing marketing materials. The typeface Temeraire brings a playful, flowing feeling, reminscent of bodies sliding through chataranga or plant leaves twisting across a garden bed. Contrarily, the geometric typeface Misto pays tribute to the gridded buildings and street blocks of the Mission District, where Yoga Garden’s flagship studio resides. This dichotomy visually represents what makes Yoga Garden so special, and serves as a perfect platform for various assets to be built on top of.
